Okay, if you are intent on setting a new habit, let’s chat about this. Starting a habit, like a new year’s resolution is easy. Day one you’re super psyched and confident, happy that this time, you’re gonna do this! Day two, you hit the snooze button and you wonder where the morning went and just like that, bam! you’re attempt at starting a new habit just went tumbling down the hill. The hard part is sticking with that habit and not letting life’s events derail them. I’ve come across a lot of articles on habit and today, I’m sharing the tips that have worked for me and my favorite resources on the topic.
The day after Thanksgiving, I conducted my first annual year in review of my business. I’ve done reviews of my business in past years but it was never very official and as detailed as this year’s. It will be an annual activity from now on. I was prompted to conduct a deeper look at my business and activities this year because I didn’t do much in the way of supporting my own business. This past year has been more about providing the support my clients needed and making sure they were supported and had the attention they needed to run their business and grow their business.
When we set an intention, we open our minds to be fully present and receptive to energy flowing through the room. Setting intentions isn't just for the yoga mat. Apply it when you're working, especially when getting focused is a challenge.
